Absolutely. We are all about a relationship with you and your website, so we would hate to see you go but we know financial needs weigh on many decisions and don’t want to lock anyone in. Request a cancellation via email to email@example.com, and we will immediately stop the next payment.
Email is our best form of communication since it yields the fastest response. However, we know brainstorming and reviewing visual work can be best on the phone or on a video call.
These consulting calls are reserved for clients on our Standard and Premium care plans. They help focus a trajectory of the website for growth and improvements. These sessions are often used for online screen-sharing small updates or providing training.
You simply book your consultation via email and we'll be ready with the agenda to make the most out of our call.
Like a lawyer’s retainer, the monthly time is there for you every month to reserve your place in our queue and our resources, therefore it does not rollover.
Your credit card will be charged automatically every month. We then send you a receipt upon completion of each payment. You can choose to cancel at any time by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will evaluate requests that exceed your time on a case by case basis, and with approval, work past the time and bill for time exceeded at the hourly support rate that corresponds with your care plan.
When quoting work we provide a fixed price estimate before we get started so you can budget effectively.
In some cases, we use hourly billing where the work is customised or the scope is not fully known to give you more flexibility.
Current hourly support rates:
- $125/hour - Basic and Standard Care Plan
- $95/hour - Premium Care Plan
The whole purpose of our client plans is preventative care, so we work hard to prevent anything from happening. However, in the case something does happen and your website needs emergency care, we will be there right by its side communicating with the web hosting company on your behalf.
We cannot promise your website will not be hacked but can promise we will do everything in our power to prevent it, as well as assist in the restoration and cleanup of the website with one of our backups.
Although these plans are for sites we build or re-design, we welcome clients who are looking for a long term relationship with a dedicated webmaster.
We first like to do a Website Evaluation to become familiar with the website, how it was built and any potential issues that can arise. With the evaluation we will perform all the "Website Updates and Monitoring" tasks and make a full backup. Most importantly we will make a list of issues to fix and suggestions for improvement needed in order to proceed with the website on a monthly plan. This Website Evaluation is a fixed $495 fee.
Even though you may not be making changes to your website there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes. WordPress CMS, your site theme and all of the plugins that are used (an average site has 5 to 20 plugins) are being continually improved by the developers. It’s important to keep these up to date on your website to ensure your site is functioning properly and stays secure.
